New professional general practice nursing courses
Are you thinking of returning to primary care nursing? In recognition of the growing importance of the role of nurses in primary care, in particular, general practice nurses (GPNs), Education for Health have developed a new professional clinical practice course designed specifically to support newly appointed GPNs and those returning to primary care nursing.
The courses, launching this autumn, will develop the specialist knowledge, skills and competencies required to work effectively in a primary care setting. Education for Health's tried and tested mix of online and face-to-face training will enable nurses to combine work and professional development, applying what they have learnt in their everyday practice.
At a time when 33% of GPNs are due to retire in the next four years* and recruitment to primary care is a high priority for the NHS across the country, these courses will be critical in supporting nurses of the future to develop their knowledge and clinical skills.
If you’d like to find out more then please complete the short form atwww.educationforhealth.org/gpn and they will be in touch.
