Community Nurse ( Band 5)

Hallam Medical has an exciting opportunity for Band 5 Community Nurses to support our client in the Southampton area.
 

We are looking for dedicated Band 5 Community Nurses with a passion for delivering excellent standards of care within a community setting.

This opportunity is ongoing and offers shifts covering Monday to Friday with both full and part time hours available.

Our ideal candidates will be able to work well both on their own and alongside others.
 

As you will be required to travel between patient visits you will need to be a fully licensed driver with access to a vehicle suitable for business purposes.
 

Educational Requirements:
To be eligible for this role you must:

• Be an NMC Registered General Nurse ( Band 5) with experienced of working in the Community
 

Skill Set:
To be eligible for this role you must be an experienced Community Nurse and able to:

- Carry out physical assessments
- Administer medication and injections
- Carry out blood glucose monitoring
- Carry out catheter care, pressure area care, wound care and bandaging.
- Apply Vac dressings

– Band 6 Community Nurses
– Prison Nurses

We are looking for Registered Adult Nurses with a passion for providing the best possible care to all those who need it.

Our ideal candidates will be able to work both on their own and with others.

Ideally you will be a fully licensed driver with access to a vehicle suitable for business purposes, as you will be required to travel between patient visits and your neighbourhood base.

About the role:

The service runs between 7am and 10pm every day of the year, and offers both long term and ad-hoc opportunities.

There are a range of shift patterns, including standard working hours and long days, to suit your needs.
